Parking & Location

Sons & Daughters is located in the Nob Hill neighborhood of San Francisco, closest to the Powell Street BART station.

There are two (2) parking garages near us: one is located on our block at 750 Bush and the other is the Sutter-Stockton Garage, which has an entrance from Bush Street. It is on the 500 block of Bush Street, only a block and a half away from the restaurant. 

Dietary Restrictions

Please indicate any food allergies or dietary restrictions, including pescatarian or vegetarian diets, when making your reservation and allow at least 48 hours’ notice. You can also communicate your dietary needs by email, at info@sonsanddaughterssf.com or text at +1 (415) 994-7933. Due to the complexity and seasonality of the menu, we are not always able to accommodate all requests, but will try our best!

Among other restrictions and combination of restrictions, kindly note that we are unable to accommodate 100% plant-based (vegan), gluten-free/Celiac, dairy-free, sugar-free, salt-free and/or no-allium menus at this time.

Dress Code

We do not have a strict dress code. Jackets aren’t required and jeans are welcome. However most of our guests naturally dress for the casual elegant category and will dress up, or not, for their own occasions.

Same-day Reservations

We allow same-day reservations on Tock until 11:00am. For same-day reservations after 11:00am, please call or text us at +1 (415) 994-7933.

Note that due to the small size of our team and the complexity of the tasting menu, modifications to the menu for allergies and other dietary restrictions generally require 48 hours' notice. We have very limited ability to modify the tasting menu for same-day reservations.

Cancellation Policy

If you would like to cancel, change or reschedule your reservation, please do so with at least 48 hours’ notice, and we will be able to accommodate the request with credit for a future visit or a full refund. 

Reservations at Sons & Daughters become final, non-refundable, and cannot be modified, rescheduled or cancelled within 48 hours of the reservation. However, they are always transferrable and our team will gladly offer assistance to help rebook the seats.

Because of the personalized experience we offer, we request that all bookings are formally transferred through Tock’s website.  Your confirmed bookings can be viewed and transferred from your Tock profile. If you are experiencing any trouble or have questions, please text or email us.

Late Seating Policy

Please allow 2-2.5 hours to enjoy the full experience and keep in mind that it starts promptly at your reservation time. If you are running behind schedule on the day of your reservation, please contact us so we may plan accordingly and extend a grace period of up to 15 minutes.

While we recognize that unforeseen events occur, seating cannot be guaranteed beyond this window. If you do anticipate a delayed arrival, please contact us as soon as possible at +1 (415) 994-7933 - voice or text.

Please keep in mind that refunds and reschedules are not offered if we are unable to seat you after our grace period.

Corkage Policy

$75 per 750mL bottle, up to two bottles. $150 per Magnum bottle, limit one. We kindly ask that the wines you bring are not already represented on our list. Please feel free to contact us if you would like to confirm your bottle ahead of your visit: +1 (415) 994-7933 - voice or text.

Child Policy

Young guests are welcome to join us for dinner providing that they will participate in the full tasting menu experience, which typically takes 2-2.5 hours to enjoy. We ask our diners to keep in mind that many of our guests are celebrating special occasions when they join us and expect to enjoy their dining experience in a peaceful and relaxing environment.

private events

Sons & Daughters accepts reservations for 1 to 4 guests in our main dining room, and up to 6 guests in our private dining room.

Should you wish to dine with a larger group, we offer exclusive use of our entire restaurant for private events. For private events, we have a capacity of 7 to a maximum of 16 guests, with some limited flexibility on group size.

We ask for a minimum of 6 weeks’ notice in order to secure your preferred date(s).
